The Real Fresh Kid Ice Aka Chinaman
Chris Wong Won BKA Fresh Kid Ice has sold over 15 Million records worldwide and served as the poster child for 1st Amendment Rights. His 30 year tenure as a member of the world’s nastiest group, has made him a staple in clubs with hits such as: “Me So Horny,” “We Want Some Pussy” and “Move Somethin'.” Aside from his love of creating music, he’s always had a passion for working behind the scenes. This led to him forming Chinaman Records and his latest project Breaking Glass Ceilings.
“I called this project Breaking Glass Ceilings because I wanted to prove that veteran artists could work with new artists and make great music together," explains Chris.
And that is just what he accomplishes. Legendary heavyweights like JT Money and Da Lench Mob show and prove they still have the street credibility and skills to make it in today’s rap game. New comers Sweet Juices, Boi Durty and Reggie Nickels bring that new flavor that’s dominating the club scene right now.
It’s no surprise that Chris was able to assemble such a unique team of talent. This is the man that took a young Flo Rida under his wings back in the day. He also picked hits for Luke Records when he had groups like Poison Clan and the 2 Live Crew.
Chris says, “This compilation is a breakthrough for me personally because I’ve worked with a lot of people over the years and guided a lot of careers and now to see them come back and work with me on this it’s like a homecoming, ya dig. I got a lot of submissions through social media and that showed me that the younger generation is still checking for me and acknowledge my ability to break music.”
Boi Durty reciprocates the feeling saying, “I'm honored, I'm humbled and blessed by the opportunity to work with the legendary Fresh Kid Ice and the Chinaman family excited about my new single from my debut album #stb4l”
Sweet Juices "Play My Shit" is a song off of his debut Welcome To Molly World, produced by platinum producer Xcel, who crafted “Getting Some” for Shawnna. This song represents exactly what the title says, “Play My Shit!!!” It is for all the club DJ's, radio DJ's, Internet DJ's, promoters and anyone else that has an outlet to play music. .This is a statement song to listen to and get in tune with the Sweet Juices movement.
Reggie Nickels, AKA Reese M.A.C., is no stranger to the music game. He is an old school emcee with new school flavor. "Role Play" is a song off of his upcoming album Seeds & Stems and is the first single released from the project. “Role Play” is a song about a fun, spontaneous relationship between a man and woman that will help spice up that boring relationship and also will having you grooving in the club. The hook is catchy.
“You gone play the dancer/ I’m gone play the pole/ You go up and down/ I’ll rub it real slow,” is what you will be singing this Fall.
There are also features from Chinaman artists Drillem Out, Fame Faiella and Monte Cristoe. This album is going to break through so be on the lookout for glass all over the industry.

Fresh Kid Ice
Co-Founder 2 Live Crew
Christopher Wong Won (Fresh Kid Ice) was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. His family is Trinidadian and Cantonese and due to his origins he is often cited as the first Asian rapper. At the age of 12, he moved from Trinidad & Tobago to Brooklyn, New York. In 1982, he graduated from Samuel J Tilden high school and that summer he joined the U.S. Air Force for a four year stint . While stationed in Riverside, California, in 1984, he got together with Amazing Vee and Mr. Mixx to form the rap group 2 Live Crew.
The group released its first single, "Revelation" on their own label "Fresh Beat Records" in 1984. As a result of "Revelation" becoming popular in Florida, 2 Live Crew (without Amazing Vee who wanted to perform a new style of rap) relocated to Miami where they did countless performances. In 1985, for their next single, "What I Like", Fresh Kid Ice was the only MC featured on the track. In 1986, 2 Live Crew recorded: Throw the D and Ghetto Bass on the b-side. Again, he was the only rapper on the record. It was recorded for the upcoming Label, Luke Skywalker records with local DJ, Luther Campbell who befriended the group and worked as a Manager and the Hypeman.
Luke Skyywalker Records was intentionally formed for the entire group. In April of that year, Brother Marquis joined the group and the following summer, the trio moved to Miami Fl. Luke Skyywalker (Luther Campbell) gave The 2 Live Crew a record deal and officially joined the group. They exploded on the local scene with their Gold debut album, "2 Live Crew Is What We Are".

As an Artist, Song Writer and Producer, he embarked on the music scene in the early 90’s with his many talents and strong determination. Working with the late L.C. Sneed of Slamming/Bound Sound Records in conjunction with Warner Bros. Records, Boi Durty delivered huge hits, such as “Get Em Up” and “Where the Booty At”. He sold over 200,000 records, yet didn’t stop there.
The next decade Boi Durty went full steam ahead. In 2000, he created two labels; “Bad Az Music”and “Block Runners”, which later merged to become “Block Runners Ent”(Distributed by The Island Def Jam Digital Distribution and Sugo Music Group). In 2007 Boi Dirty linked up with PPI Records South he delivered his debut album “Smoke One“, followed up by “Ya Didn’t C It Coming”. In doing so, his music career began to soar to greater levels.
In the mix of his heightening music career, Boi Durty was stuck with a personal tragedy. In March of 2006, the lives of his twin daughters and their mother were taken at the hands of a drunk driver. Although crushing, he decided turning a tragedy into a positive entity was what he needed to do. “Finally There’s Hope” (FTH, Inc - 501c Non-Profit Org.) was established. This Foundation provides help to families that have been affected by alcohol related tragedies as well as many other community programs across the U.S.
Throughout his career, Boi Durty has written for and performed with the likes of Akon, Snoop Dogg, Ginuwine, H Town, Lil Wayne and many other well known artists in the music industry.
